The future of Dan Mullen’s Florida Gators looks even brighter following the past two days.
A week after a dominating win in the Peach Bowl, the Gators rose six spots to No. 11 in the 247Sports national recruiting rankings and also received word some key players would return for their senior seasons.
Tailback Lamical Perine, the team’s leading rusher, wideout Van Jefferson, the team’s leading receiver, and defensive end Jabari Zuniga, who had 6.5 sacks in 2018, announced their return Saturday on Twitter.
The biggest news of the day, though, was UF signing five-star defensive back Chris Steel of Los Angeles.
