With a flick of the wrist and the game on the line, senior guard KeVaughn Allen turned an off night into one to remember for him and the Florida Gators.
Allen was 0-of-6 shooting from 3-point range when he pulled up in front of his team’s bench and drained his first 3 of the night with 2.5 seconds remaining Wednesday night against Ole Miss.
The shot over Rebels’ 6-foot-7 forward KJ Buffen tied the game at 76 and sent it to overtime, where the Gators (12-8, 4-3 SEC) pulled away for a dramatic 90-86 win at the O’Connell Center.
