The Florida Gators cruised to a 81-68 victory over Mississippi State in Starkville on Tuesday night behind a dominant second half. Florida went on a 17-0 run over the first five minutes of the second half, forcing six turnovers that led to 11 of those points. The 17-0 run was the Gators’ second-largest of the season, trailing only the 27-0 run vs. Wichita State. Four different Gators hit a 3-pointer during the run (Aberdeen, Richard, Clayton, Haugh).
The victory improved Florida to 21-3 (8-3 SEC) on the 2024/25 season and marked back-to-back road wins over top 25 teams for the first time in program history.
