From a statistical standpoint, Florida wide receiver Antonio Callaway appears to have regressed as a sophomore.
As a freshman out of Miami Booker T. Washington, Callaway made an immediate impression on Florida’s offense. Callaway finished the 2015 season with 35 receptions for 678 yards and four touchdowns, with a two-yard passing touchdown to boot. But Callaway was also a threat as the team’s punt returner. He averaged 15.5 yards per return.
Although he’s poised to exceed his reception total from 2015, the explosive plays that made Callaway a threat last season have been noticeably absent in 2016.
