GAINESVILLE — Gymnast Bridget Sloan knows what it took for the Florida Gators to win two straight gymnastics national titles.
A third?
There really is no point — or benefit — in discussing it.
"Not once as anyone said, 'Gosh, we're going into national as two-time national champions,'" said Sloan, a junior. "It's been very relaxed. That helps a lot."
The Gators enter the NCAA Championships this weekend in Fort Worth, Texas, positioned for a three-peat. But the biggest obstacle facing the Gators will not be the balance bar, uneven bars, pommel horse or floor exercise.
