After missing the first three games of the season due to eligibility issues with the NCAA, Slovenian point guard Urban Klavzar has been cleared to play, Florida head coach Todd Golden announced on Thursday afternoon. Klavzar will travel with the team to Tallahassee on Friday to take on in-state rival Florida State.

The NCAA ruled Klavzar, a 20-year-old international transfer, a sophomore, meaning he has three years of eligibility remaining.

Klavzar earned All-Tournament honors as he averaged 16.1 points per game and shot .383 from 3-point range at the 2024 U20 EuroBasket. Posted 23 points in the gold medal game, as Slovenia earned a 6-1 record.
