GAINESVILLE — Martez Ivey trotted to the north end of UF's Sanders Practice Field with his fellow offensive lineman, geared up for another Wednesday practice.
During the first drill of the afternoon, the former five-star recruit out of Apopka High lined up with his fellow second-string linemen by his side and starter David Sharpe holding a medicine ball in front of him.
"I want to hear you pop that," offensive line coach Mike Summers told the freshman.
When Summers blew his whistle, Ivey missed the mark.
"You can do better," Summers said. "Hurry back."
Ivey went for rep two.
