GAINESVILLE – A breakout third inning in which the Gators batted through their entire lineup and included a run walked in, was the start of a scoring barrage in Florida’s 18-0 victory over Florida A&M in the NCAA Gainesville Regional Friday night.
The five-run third inning was the third time in the last five outings that Florida has scored at least five runs in the third.
“This whole thing is about how you’re feeling as a player and a club, and when you get more players feeling good about themselves, the club plays better,” Florida coach Kevin O’Sullivan said.
