GAINESVILLE — There was something bothering Caleb Brantley.
As he bounded out of the team's locker room minutes after Florida defeated Vanderbilt on Oct. 1, there was no hiding the displeasure he had for his stats: one solo tackle, no sacks, no tackles for loss.
Before the season began, there was talk he would be the next great Florida defensive lineman, the one to follow in the footsteps of NFL players Dante Fowler Jr., Jonathan Bullard and others.
And while his coaches and teammates constantly laud his play, one glance at Brantley's below-average production this season suggests otherwise.
