Gators defeat Xavier Musketeers, win Charleston Classic

Down by three with 13 seconds left in the game, Xavier forward Paul Scruggs launched a desperate three-point shot into the air.

The Xavier bench stood up to watch. The ball bounced once, twice, and fell away from the rim on the third time and landed into the hands of the Florida Gators. The Musketeers bench fell back to their seats in defeat.

UF staved off its second late-game comeback attempt of the Charleston Classic to defeat the Xavier Musketeers 70-65 and grab its fifth win of the season.
