Grantham never doubted things were copacetic even as Florida’s head coach tore into his defensive coordinator on the sideline during last Saturday’s win against Kentucky.
“We’re good,” Grantham said following Tuesday’s practice. “The respect we have for each other, the ability to have our opinions, it has allowed us to grow as coaches and our program to grow. We’ve won a lot of games together and look forward to winning many more.”
That national TV cameras caught their sideline spat and spotlighted it while providing red meat to a rabid fan base frustrated with the struggles of Grantham’s defense.
