GAINESVILLE — Through the glass doors and up the spiral staircase, Canyon Barry sits in a brown leather chair, clutching a blue water bottle.
He’s breathing heavily. Basketball practice ended some time ago, but Canyon stayed longer, taking extra shots in the team’s wood-paneled gym on the first floor of Florida’s practice facility.
But now, late on a Tuesday afternoon, he’s meeting with a reporter. In 15 minutes, he will meet with another one. And on it will continue.
