It’s never too late to add talented players to your roster and that’s exactly what Florida Gators basketball coach Michael White did on Monday night when he landed a JUCO prospect.
Forward Justin Leon (6-7, 200, Shawnee Community College) tweeted out his commitment to Florida after he was released from his letter of intent from Louisiana Tech, where he signed with White previously.
“After reviewing my options I have decided to go to Gainesville, Florida and join the Gators,” Leon tweeted.
When White and his coaching staff left Louisiana Tech, Leon was heartbroken about the decision and immediately asked for his release and that was when the Gators reached out to him.
