As part of a team building exercise, second-year Florida offensive line coach Mike Summers set up a fishing outing for his position group at an area lake.
Sophomore center Cam Dillard teamed with freshman guard Zachary Schinn to catch the most fish, a whopping 11 in three hours.
If Florida can build a rotation of 11 offensive linemen to match the number of fish Dillard and Schinn caught, new football coach Jim McElwain would be ecstatic.
For now, McElwain would settle for an eight-player rotation.
“What we need to do is develop eight solid guys, originally,” McElwain said Wednesday at Florida football media day.
