Florida has won seven straight games in part due to a swarming, opportunistic defense that creates and scores points off turnovers.
But for as good as the 19th-ranked Gators have been making opposing teams uncomfortable with the ball, No. 24 South Carolina has been even better.
The turnover margin could play an important role in the outcome when the two ranked teams square off Wednesday. South Carolina leads the SEC (and is 12th in the nation) in turnovers forced at 17.1 per game. Florida is second in the SEC behind the Gamecocks, forcing 16.7 turnovers per game.
