Game Recap: Florida Gators 72-South Carolina Gamecocks 77

Not a lot went right for Florida tonight as every bounce seemed to go in South Carolina’s favor as the Gators fell to the Gamecocks by a score of 77-72. Whether it was the normally horrible shooting Gamecocks going 11-21 (52%) from the 3-point line or three Gators going to secure an uncontested defensive rebound down the stretch that led Egor Koulechov to have to throw the ball away (it was a 3-point game at the time with 1:54 left, the ensuing possession ended with a tough Chris Silva jumper that he drilled in the face of Kevarrius Hayes to stretch the South Carolina lead to 5) Lady Luck seemed to be on the side of the Gamecocks.
