The Gators now know what their path to Omaha will look like, as the 64-team field for the NCAA Tournament was revealed on Monday afternoon.
UF was awarded the No. 15 national seed and will host Miami, South Alabama and South Florida in a regional at Florida Ballpark this weekend. UF will open the tournament on Friday at noon by taking on South Florida, while Miami and South Alabama will square off at 5.
This will be the 36th NCAA Tournament appearance in school history for the Gators, including the 17th time that they’ve hosted a regional.
