TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State WR Ermon Lane will miss the Peach Bowl with a broken left foot, Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher said after Wednesday's practice.
Lane, a former five-star recruits, is on crutches and was in a walking boot during workouts. Lane appeared in all 12 games this season.
LB Lorenzo Phillips twisted his knee while running recently and will probably have to get it scoped, Fisher said. It sounds unlikely that he will play against Houston.
A few other Seminoles were sidelined with various illness and ailments, including LB Reggie Northrup, OL Chad Mavety, OL Ryan Hoefeld and DE Chris Casher, but all will likely be available for the bowl game.
