This year’s Friday Night Lights had the potential to be much bigger than in recent years, and it didn’t disappoint.
The Swamp filled Friday with hundreds of players and more than a dozen top-100 recruits from the 2016 and 2017 classes. Prior to the event, Florida picked up a pair of verbal commitments and added a third following FNL.
The Gators landed offensive lineman Brent Heggie and defensive back Quincy Lenton for 2016 as well as 2017 prospect Daquon Green, one of the top wide receivers for his recruiting cycle.
