Days after UF quarterback Jalon Jones’ surprising decision to transfer, police reports surfaced Thursday stating the freshman had been accused of sexual battery of two women.
According to a University of Florida Police Department report, two UF female students allege Jones assaulted them during the early morning hours of April 6.
Neither woman decided to press charges, but a rape kit was performed on each at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
The police report helps explain Jones’ decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday. The Richmond, Va., product enrolled early in January and went through spring practices with coach Dan Mullen’s squad.
