The Florida Gators finished 2018 with a 9-3 mark under first-year head coach Dan Mullen and appear primed for a New Year’s Six bowl appearance. Austin Appleby played quarterback at Florida in 2016 and he joined “XL Primetime” on 1010XL Radio in Jacksonville to look back on year-one under Mullen.
“I thought the culture change was kind of that shock and awe effect,” Appleby told 1010XL. “He came in immediately and changed the program and the mentality of the kids.
“When I see these guys and I talk to them, they look like they are just having fun.
