Former Florida defensive tackle Ian Scott is taking a route to coaching that not many 35-year-olds do. The Gainesville native is returning to his alma mater to become a graduate assistant for the Gators.

Scott played six years in the NFL after being named second-team All-SEC twice during his Florida career. Head coach Jim McElwain is looking forward to having him on staff.
