Former Florida Gators quarterback Eric Kresser saved a man’s life Saturday – and got a free coffee in return.
Kresser began his college career at UF before transferring to Marshall and helping the Thundering Herd win the 1996 Division I-AA national title. He was in Huntington, W.Va., for a reunion of that ’96 team; the reunion was held in conjunction with Marshall’s spring game.
He was in a Starbucks on Saturday morning when a fellow customer fell to the floor.
“We got him on his back and he had no pulse and wasn’t breathing, so I performed CPR,” Kresser told the Huntington Dispatch.
