Doug Nussmeier has another SEC job, though a bit more low-profile than his last one.
Various media reports, including one from The Advocate of Baton Rouge, say Nussmeier, whose three-year tenure as Florida’s offensive coordinator did not go well, has been hired as an offensive analyst for LSU. He will work for new LSU coordinator Steve Ensminger, who was promoted from tight ends coach when Matt Canada was pushed out following the 2017 season. Ensminger’s promotion was somewhat of an eye-opener because he hasn’t been a full-time OC since 1998.
Nussmeier and Ensminger have a combined 22 seasons of SEC coaching experience.
