Five Florida Gators announced plans to enter the 2019 NFL Draft this week, removing a handful of talented players from the program’s future plans.
Four more announced plans to stay in Gainesville through the 2019 season on Friday and Saturday, though — and the returns of wide receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Van Jefferson, running back Lamical Perine, and defensive tackle Adam Shuler are all significant boosts to the Gators.
Cleveland was first to announce his intention to return on Friday.
He was followed on Saturday by Perine, Shuler, and Jefferson — who announced within an hour and a half of each other, and with graphics that look very much like ones prepared in-house by Florida.
