Florida cornerback Teez Tabor was named to the coaches’ All-SEC First Team on Tuesday, the league announced.
The selection is Tabor’s second consecutive All-SEC First Team nod, putting him in elite company in program history. Tabor joins Lito Sheppard, Keiwan Ratliff, and Vernon Hargreaves III — named to the All-SEC First Team in all three of his seasons at Florida — as Gators defensive backs with consecutive All-SEC First Team selections this millennium.
This means Tabor has done something that Joe Haden and Janoris Jenkins, both of whom have signed NFL contracts worth in excess of $60 million, did not do at Florida.
