Florida freshman wide receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Rick Wells were booked into the Alachua County Jail early Monday morning on charges of criminal mischief and a weapons offense.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that the two were arrested for firing BB guns and causing more than $1,000 in property damage in the Keys Residential Complex on the UF campus.
The weapons offense is a second-degree felony, and involves shooting into dwellings, public or private buildings, occupied or not occupied. The criminal mischief charge is a third-degree felony because it involves property damage of at least $1,000.
