The Florida Gators women’s golf team finished off an impressive performance at the SEC Championships on Sunday, firing a 10-under 278 to finish at 22-under 842 for the tournament to win their first SEC team title since 2008.
Kelly Grassel led the Gators on the day and for the week, shooting a 7-under 65 that was the best round by any golfer in the field over the SEC Championships’ three days of play, and using it to take bronze medalist honors at 8-under 208 for the tournament.
