Having been at Purdue and played against Iowa twice, Florida quarterback Austin Appleby has been able to give his teammates a head's up on what to expect from the Hawkeyes. For one thing, he's told the Gators not to stereotype Iowa as a big, plodding team that is not as fast as a typical SEC opponent. "There's this stigma around here that the Big Ten is the SEC's little brother, and, 'Oh it's Iowa. Whatever.' That is not the case. This is a good, good team that's well coached and I think they're picked to beat us, so you have to take that, if you're any sort of competitor, you take that personally and you put in the work to go get a great plan to go beat a great opponent.
