Florida vs. Arkansas: Gators wearing white tops, blue pants

Florida just can’t get enough of non-traditional uniform choices. On Saturday at Arkansas, the Gators will wear white jerseys and blue pants — a combination they haven’t donned since 2013.

It’s all well and good that Florida will wear white-on-blue in the sure sea of red at Arkansas, as the combination should look pretty sharp and contrasting. But it might also be worth noting that Florida wasn’t good in the combination in 2013, rolling them out in a 36-17 loss at Missouri.

That was the only time Florida wore white-on-blue under Will Muschamp. The Gators went 2-1 in the combination in 2010 under Urban Meyer, beating Georgia — albeit in a Nike Pro Combat version of the attire, not the traditional white and blue we will see this Saturday — and Vanderbilt in white-on-blue, then losing 31-7 to Florida State in Meyer’s final regular season game as Florida’s head coach.
