Florida advanced to the College World Series on Monday night, defeating Florida State 7-0 in game three of the Gainesville Super Regional at McKethan Stadium. The Gators (52-14) are going back to Omaha for the 10th time in program history and the fifth time in seven years. Florida is the only team from the Southeastern Conference to advance to this year’s World Series.
“I can’t say enough about our team,” Florida head coach Kevin O’Sullivan said.
