NASHVILLE — Off the court, down the tunnel and past the blue SEC Tournament posters, Florida coach Mike White stopped in front of a podium.
White wasn’t looking forward to Florida’s SEC Tournament quarterfinals matchup against Vanderbilt, the only team to beat the Gators twice during the regular season.
“I’m sick to my stomach,” White said. “But we’ll find a way.”
But the next day, in front of a nearly full Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, the No. 2 seed Gators (24-8) didn’t.
They missed 17 of their 23 3-pointers.
