Florida outfielder Michael Robertson has entered the transfer portal, Gator Country learned on Tuesday. Robertson spent three seasons in Gainesville and totaled 104 starts, most of which were in center field. The Venice, Florida native is draft eligible and has two years of eligibility remaining.
Robertson hit .254 in 2024 but had started to come alive in the final month of the season, going 18-51 (.327) at the plate in the final 15 games of the season, which including an 0-7 span across Florida’s last two games.
Hitting out of the nine-hole the majority of the season, Robertson’s job was to turn the lineup over for top of the Gators’ order.
