Wilson (6 feet 0, 180 pounds), from Miami Northwestern, originally committed to Florida in February; his main recruiter was Randy Shannon, who was not retained by new UF coach Dan Mullen.
Wilson took official visits to Alabama and South Carolina during the season, and has an official visit scheduled for Louisville in mid-December.
He was one of two cornerback commitments for UF; the other is Nigel Bethel, who is the other starting cornerback at Northwestern.
