Foley is set to retire on Nov. 1, which is the date that Stricklin will take over.
Stricklin comes from his alma mater, Mississippi State, where he was the AD there for the last six years. The Jackson, Miss., native has worked in the Southeastern Conference for over 23 years with stops at Auburn and Kentucky along the way before returning to MSU in 2008. One of Stricklin’s greatest accomplishments while leading MSU, was “spearheading over $140 million in facility improvements as well as significant increases in booster club membership and donations and the highest-ever Learfield Director’s Cup finish in school history”.
