Special report on the Florida Gators volleyball team:
STARKVILLE, Miss. – The No. 12 Florida volleyball team swept the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon in the Newell-Grissom Building.
The Gators remain atop the SEC standings with an 11-1 conference record and have now won nine matches in a row – the longest streak in the league.
Florida grabbed the first set 25-18 and followed with a 25-15 win in the second set. The Gators secured the match with a 25-21 win in the final set.
UF’s offensive attack was led by Thayer Hall, who notched 12 kills on the afternoon.
