BATON ROUGE, La. – The 13th-ranked Florida volleyball team swept LSU in Baton Rouge, La. on Sunday afternoon to extend its win streak to four matches.
The Gators took the first set, 25-20, then followed with a 25-20 victory in the second set. UF secured the match with a 25-21 win in the final frame.
Florida hit .276 on the afternoon, led by 18 kills from Thayer Hall. Holly Carlton posted 12 kills on the afternoon, while Paige Hammons pitched in eight in the match.
Marlie Monserez dished out a team-high 40 assists on the afternoon, averaging 13.
