Last week during the bye week, the Florida Gators coaching staff visited several prospects and watched their games from the sideline.
One prospect that Florida visited and has kept in touch with is Colorado defensive end commit Justin Jackson (6-3, 285, Olive Branch, MS. Northwest Mississippi JUCO) who says defensive line coach David Turner has been talking to him.
“They have been recruiting me pretty hard,” Jackson said of Florida’s recruitment of him. “Coach Turner has told me that they’re not recruiting me to stand around, they’re recruiting me to come in and play.”
Turner was the coach who visited Jackson at his game on Thursday and the defensive end was glad to see the Gators on the sidelines.
