Bryan Cox Jr. came to Florida out of St. Thomas Aquinas High School as the No. 66 player in the state of Florida and a three-star prospect by Rivals.com. The defensive end chose Florida over Louisville, Miami, and Michigan State.
Cox Jr. is the son of former NFL linebacker and current defensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons, Bryan Cox. Having a dad who is also an NFL coach has made things tough for him sometimes, but he believes he has benefited from it and will carry that with him when he moves on from Florida after this season.
