Florida Gators quarterback, Jalen Kitna, was arrested and taken into custody Wednesday, November 30th at 3:20p.m, according to Alachua County records. No other details were made available.
Kitna, the son of former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, signed with Florida as a member of the 2021 recruiting class. Kitna did not appear in a game in his freshman season but had taken over the role of backup QB for the Gators in 2022. Kitna appeared in three games this season, completing 10 of 14 pass attempts for 181 yards and a touchdown.
Kitna had a chance to make his first start in Florida’s bowl game, pending Anthony Richardson’s NFL decision.
