The Florida Gators continue to look to improve the offensive side of the ball with more speed and athleticism, as head coach Jim McElwain his second year in Gainesville.
On Tuesday the Gators extended an offer to a player that fits that bill when they offered athlete Kadarius Toney (5-11, 185, Prichard, AL Blount) over the phone.
“Coach [Tim] Skipper was the one that told me about the offer,” Toney said. “He said a lot of things really. He said that they were offering me as an athlete because they were going to put in a wildcat package so I could play some quarterback there.
