GAINESVILLE — We're two weeks and one day away from the Florida Gators' Sept. 2 season opener against Michigan, and the quarterback position remains unresolved.
That's assuming coach Jim McElwain doesn't break some major news when he speaks to reporters later today.
In the meantime, the three quarterback candidates - Malik Zaire, Feleipe Franks and Luke Del Rio - addressed the media earlier this morning.
"This is everything to me..." said Zaire, the grad transfer from Notre Dame. "I have everything to prove, everything to lose."
The quarterbacks either don't know where they stand in the competition, or they aren't saying.
