It’s not just football. Across all NCAA sports, Florida fans had a lot to chomp about during the past year.

Florida finished third in the final standings of the Learfield Directors’ Cup which tracks schools’ performances across all NCAA sports. That put the Gators on top among SEC schools, pacing their rivals by more than 200 points.

The Gators finished with 1,252.5 points, behind only champion Stanford and runner-up Ohio State. For spring sports, in fact, Florida’s 683.25 points led all college athletics, with a considerable boost from the university’s first-ever national championship in baseball earlier this week.
