The Florida Gators' turbulent offseason continued this week when two players were cited on a complaint of marijuana possession.
Four-star receiver James Robinson and linebacker Ventrell Miller were both involved in the incident on Monday morning. A UF police officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana at the Keys Residential Complex, according to a police report obtained by the Tampa Bay Times. The officer searched the room and found a baggy of marijuana.
WTLV first reported the news.
Miller has already been suspended for the Sept. 2 season opener against No. 11 Michigan. The former three-star recruit from Lakeland's Kathleen High is one of seven players who will miss the game, reportedly for misusing university-related funds.
