The Gators and Canes’ rivalry will be renewed, if only for a year.
The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes will open the 2019 season against each other, in the Camping World Kickoff at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. This is the first meeting between the two schools since 2013.
“We are pleased to have partnered with Florida Citrus Sports and ESPN events to kick off the 2019 season against Miami” UF Athletics Director Jeremy Foley said in a school release. “Orlando is a great Gator city and we look forward to playing in front of our fans from all over the state of Florida and beyond.
