While he played for Florida football, tight end Aaron Hernandez had one of the best careers of any tight end.
But, it all came to a tragic end in 2017 when he was found dead in his prison cell from an apparent suicide.
Now, Netflix has released a documentary series called “Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez.”
It’s a short series — only three episodes — that looks at the life of Hernandez, who came to Florida football from Bristol, Connecticut in 2007 and played for three seasons with the Gators.
He was drafted in the fourth round by the New England Patriots and seemed to have a promising pro career ahead of him until he was convicted in 2015 of first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd.
