Florida football head coach Dan Mullen wasted no time in filling a gap with his coaching staff.
Reports suggest the Gators will bring in North Carolina tight ends coach Tim Brewster to replace the exiting Larry Scott.
Scott left Florida football to become the head coach at Howard University.
Brewster has a long history coaching tight ends.
He started as a graduate assistant at Purdue before becoming head coach at Lafayette Central Catholic High School in Indiana.
His first college job came at North Carolina in 1989. He was the tight ends coach for the Tar Heels through 1997.
