Florida football: Former Bengals O-Coordinator joining Gators

A report suggests former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Ken Zampese is joining the Florida football staff “in some capacity.”

According to Bengals Wire and Sports Illustrated, Zampese has “accepted an analyst position” on the Gators’ staff.

From 1998 to 2018, Zampese worked in the NFL.

Most notably, he worked for 14 years with Marvin Lewis and the Cincinnati Bengals. from 2003 to 2015, he was quarterbacks coach and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2016.

That proved to be a dismal experiment as the Bengals were one of the worst offenses in the league during his brief tenure.
