Not much went right for the Gators on Friday as they were dominated in pretty much every aspect of the game with Tennessee coming away with a 78-66 win. Florida had frustrations offensively, defensively, rebounding, and with ball security throughout 40 minutes that felt like it dragged on for hours, and the final score actually made the game appear closer than it actually was. Tennessee held a 31-22 lead at half and never relented, essentially holding on to a lead for the entire game and never letting the Gators go on a run. Florida will now have to regroup and find out on Sunday what seed they’ll be in the NCAA Tournament and hope they can capture some magic to win a game or two.
