Florida defensive back calls college sports 'modern form of slavery'

USA Today reported Tuesday that the SEC brought in $524.7 million during the 2014-15 fiscal year, and at least one prominent SEC athlete doesn't seem happy about with the players' slice of the pie.

Here's what was posted on the Twitter account of Florida cornerback Jalen Tabor:

"The SEC Made 527.4 Million in Total Revenue and Players Ain't Get A Penny. Modern Form Of Slavery."

Tabor starred for UF as a sophomore and will likely be one of the country's top cornerbacks next fall.

According to USA Today's report, the SEC's revenue jumped 60 percent from the previous year, thanks to the SEC Network and the College Football Playoff.
